Charlotte Elaine Ybarra was born NINE days past her due date at 1:39pm on April 28, 2009 after TWENTY HOURS of labor weighing in at stellar 7lbs 2oz and 19.5 inches long.
She’s currently 10 weeks old and she’s amazing. She can roll over from back to stomach and push herself up onto her arms. She’s not so good at grabbing rattles, but loves shoving burp cloths into her mouth. She drools constantly, so we find the fact that she loves burp cloths to not only be charming, but helpful.
Her eyes (despite this dark picture) are still blue and her hair is reddish in the sun.

Dearest Chuck,
It’s lovely to meet you, baby girl! You’re gorgeous!! (Then again, so is your mom, so that’s really not a big surprise.)
Enjoy this world, kiddo. Hopefully I’ll get to meet you and your mom in person one day! After all, we’ve virtually known each other for years, and I have her to thank for my blog and my career as a writer.
